Who I am
I'm Winter Harvey — a graduate student in human services with a concentration in addictions counseling, based in New Smyrna Beach, Florida.
I came to this work through a decade of yoga teaching, breathwork facilitation, and ceremonial work that taught me more about how people heal than any textbook could.
My path here
I didn't arrive at human services counseling through a straight line. I came through ten years of marketing and communications, another decade of yoga, breathwork, and ceremonial work — and a growing conviction that the most meaningful thing I could do with my skills was meet people in the places where they were most struggling. The through-line in all of it has always been the same, helping people reconnect with themselves.
What I’m building toward
I bring to this work not just clinical training, but a decade of lived practice creating environments where people feel safe enough to be honest, vulnerable, and changed. I believe the most important thing a helper can offer is genuine presence, and I have been practicing it, in one form or another, for most of my adult life.
